REPORT ON FIT INDIA SCHOOL WEEK 2019 – 20

Revised version of Circular No. Acad – 68 Dt. 06 – 11 -2019

As per the CBSE Circular Sacred Heart Convent School conducted Fitness awareness week by performing various activities regarding health and physical fitness.

Activities to be under taken during the fitness week celebration:

Day (1) 20 – 11- 2019:

We had Mass PT for all students during morning assembly.

Day (2): 21 -11-2019:

We had conducted Posture making competition on the topic “Fit Body, Fit mind, Fit Environment” for Classes: V to X.

We had conducted essay writing competition on the topic “Fit India School” for Classes: V to X.

 

Day (3): 23-11-2019:

We had Yoga for all the students.

Day (4): 25-11-2019:

We had Debate competition. The topic was “Is fitness essential for hardworking people” for Classes VIII, IX and X.

 

Day (5): 26-11-2019:

We had Quiz competition. The topic was “Sports” for Class V, VI and VII.

 

Day (6): 27-11-2019:
We have conducted “Khelo India Fitness Assessment” activities by using Khelo India mobile app.

 

REPORT ON CONSTITUTION DAY

Sacred Heart Convent School

As per the CBSE circular no.72/2019 Sacred Heart Convent School celebrated Constitution Day on 26th November by conducting a special assembly on the Constitution.

In the assembly Mrs.Jisha gave the introduction of “Bharathiya Samvidhan” also she read out the pledge.  Then in the afternoon assembly Adithya Menon of class X spoke a few words about the constitution and Dhanya of class VIII shared her views on Dr.B.R Ambedkar,the architect of our Constitution.  And Mrs.Ancy read out the features of the Indian Constitution.

Thus we gave awareness among our students about the ‘Supreme Law’ of our country.  The children felt proud of our great leaders.

Rastriya Ekta Divas on 31 October 19 – 20

REPORT ON RASTRIYA  EKTA DIVAS
31st October 2019

 

According to the circular No.Acad-58/2019, We the Sacred Heart Convent  School, Jadkal celebrated ‘Rastriya Ekta Divas’ or National Unity Day on 31st October 2019 with  great zeal and enthusiasm.

The Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhabhai  Patel is being observed as ‘Rastriya Ekta Divas’. This occasion provided the students and staff  an opportunity  to re-affirm  the inherent strength of our nation, to with stand the actual and potential threats to the Unity, integrity and security of our country.

During the Assembly Mrs.Kavitha the staff of the school shared her views about  Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel.  Also Allen K.Bijoy of class IV, Sinchana of Class VI, Anvay Prabhu and Asha of Class VIII  spoke about Sardar Vallabhabhai  Patel in different languages.

Then Mrs. Jisha administered  the oath for the students and staff.  All of us together took the pledge of ‘Rastriya  Ekta Diwas’.  Also a march past was organised by our students and Mrs. Sherly the PTI   lead the march past.

And finally an Essay writing competition on the theme of Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel was conducted from classes VI  to X.

All the students participated in an enthusiastic manner.  Also they decided to bring up the unity of their nation.
